Comparing Things
A simple way to compare pretty much anything you want on your WordPress site. Most of these demo pages are set up to compare loans but it’s easy to adapt to compare things like savings and investments, energy, mobile phone tariffs, crypto, insurance or anything else.
The example below has got the basic options enabled. If you wanted you could have a skinny version or have everything switched on. Other options include credit scores, sorting and filters.
It’s a little different to most comparison plugins, instead of typing in all the comparison data you can upload using a CSV (samples provided).
Anyway, it’s all free for you to play with.
Hey!
I’m currently using the plug-in for a comparison of different routers internally and to train new people.
Been enjoying it a lot, so let’s start with showing my appreciation and saying thank you for creating this!
I’m currently trying to set-up the More Info Dropdown section, which states to provide the page ID in the Info content ID section of the product data. My test page has the following ID: 2364, defined by the pagelink: https://pepwave.nl/wp-admin/post.php?post=2364&action=edit.
The function “use sample content” is not activated, but it keeps showing sample content in the dropdown section of the products. Have been playing around with this to see if this is caused on my end, but can’t seem to get the right fix here.
Would it be possible to inform if this is the case in general or if this is caused because of a setting / wrong information from my end? (Site: pepwave.nl if needed)
I would like to hear from you.
Best Regards,
Sander Koenders
Hi Sander, apologies for this. Seems there was a bug I didn’t find during testing. After a whole bunch of rework I’ve got an update you can install for testing. Please check your email where you will find a link to download the update.
